Ta-Dah!…She was the whole package. Powerful yet feminine, with a beautiful head, long lean neck, tight shoulders, lovely top line with a rump that was wide from thurl to thurl and had the correct slope from hips to pins. She had beautiful legs and a large well attached udder that produced copious amounts of milk. She had large teats with large orifices and a wonderfully globular, collapsible udder. Her skin was soft and pliable. All those really nice udder qualities made her a dream to milk. She also had perfect milk stand manners. She was all business and she knew exactly what her business was. I always said she was independent and felt that she didn’t really need any 2Legs but she humored us and graced us with her presence. I would jokingly point at her and say to people…”she doesn’t stay here for her sweet loving personality”. That was my sarcastic way of saying just how impressed I was with the conformation and productivity of this little dairy doe. However, as she aged she mellowed and I truly enjoyed her company the last three years she spent with us. I have a couple of her great great great grand daughters in my herd and I am also very fortunate that my friend Jackson sent her handsome son; Bravo Quinn back to us in the fall of 2019.
